They may not look it, but the first two frames took forever...

I did some self-plagiarism. =P

I planned to have poppies but in the end I gave up at this point... Maybe I'll add some later, but they'd probably just distract. There was going to be an easel at first, but it didn't fit.

Not yet sure about the title either...

If anyone feels like writing a foreword, let me know. I'll probably need to do some "what went before" panels again, too.

I was trying to find who links to my 404 page and came across:

Even Worse. Gamers + Soulbonders.
http://comic.truefork.org/

What an odd combination of competent linework and hideous character construction

That cat-girl thing is horrendous. Especially when running. Even though the artist apparently spent a lot of time trying to construct that pose.

Just randomly flipping around I don't even see anything that could be construed as a plot, and I definitely don't want to read it enough to know what the hell it has to do with gamers or soulbonders.

On the off chance that "fluffy" visits here: Thank you for the compliment on my linework. I'm as mystified as you are about the "gamers + soulbonders" association, because there are at most 5 episodes that might be read as obliquely referring to gamers or soulbonders. And NQDC is indeed plotless (though I'm a bit puzzled how "randomly flipping around" is supposed to reveal plot). ^___^

content: Myshka + handwriting

I was thinking of drawing an action shot of everyone playing outside, but it's not that easy! I can't even think of a decent example of an action shot involving 10 characters all coherently doing something... Standing or sitting in a kind of row, yeah. Or a collage type picture.

Not challenging oneself is boring, but picking too difficult challenges results in frustration and artist block...
